In this episode, we’ll be talking about the benefits of working out, and how making it part of our lifestyle can actually lead to more benefits—both in our professional and personal lives.
Yes—working out is not just about losing weight or getting fit. If you want to build your business or want greater focus in reaching your goals, you need to start working out.
Why and how?
Lorie and I will be talking about how we have included workouts as part of our regular routines, ultimately helping us reap more benefits than we ever expected. Do you want to know more? Please tune in…
What’s In-Store for You:
What comes to your mind when the word “workout” is mentioned?
For me, working out is part of my regular routine. As an entrepreneur, my workouts have become a way for me to “de-stress,” helping me clear my mind and find new ideas to implement for my businesses. In effect, it has helped me become better at what I do.
But take note though: Working out did not immediately become part of my lifestyle. However, certain circumstances and events (you’ll hear about them in this episode) led me to start taking the necessary steps—until I eventually made workouts as an important ingredient in my life. And you know what? You can too!
So, what benefits does working out bring?
Obviously, working out will make you healthier. Sweating it out will help you get rid of the toxins in your body. In turn, this will help your body get that needed balance, thereby helping you prevent unnecessary health risks and other problems.
On the business side, having regular workouts can help maximize your creativity. When you’re active, your mind actually releases “toxic thoughts”—making you think a lot more clearly. In short: You will think better and chances are you will have even better ideas that you can then use for your business. And as we all know, planning and ideas are essential ingredients for entrepreneurial success.
Remember: Unless and until you include workouts in your lifestyle, things just won’t work out (pun intended). You need to fit them as part of your day, be committed and hold yourself accountable and responsible for making sure that you do what you need to do. Once you are able to do that—then you can reasonably expect to see good results.
My regular workout routines have been a very big help to me. I feel healthier, my stress levels have significantly reduced and my businesses are running smoother than ever before. In fact, I can even now do my workouts while simultaneously doing other tasks (more about this in the episode). I know you can reap these benefits too, just as long as you put your mind to it.

The Examination Room
In the Examination Room, we’ll be discussing this quote:
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
Simply put, I think this quote is just about doing it. Instead of procrastinating and letting fear prevent you from becoming better— focus instead on building your momentum. Find the motivation for success, and you will reach it.
Remember: It’s much harder and difficult to improve and grow if you’re already an expert. On the other hand, beginners have a lot of opportunities that can help them reach their full potential. It’s now up to us if we want to grab those opportunities and use them for our respective purposes.
