Highlights and Takeaways Mentioned in this Episode:
Kevan is not only an expert on the topic of Succession Planning, but he’s also living through it as we speak, on both ends of the spectrum – want to know what I mean – listen as he introduces himself, and answers some tough questions from us.
Here’s a few things that we asked:
- When should a business start thinking about succession planning?
- Who should be a part of building your succession plan. (i.e. lawyer, financial planner, etc)?
- What’s the bad news, if I don’t succession plan?
- Before I seek professional help, what are some questions should I be asking myself in preparing to go forward in creating my succession plan?
Kevan had a few questions of his own… How would you answer this one: “Can you go away on Holidays for more than 2 weeks at a time, without your business falling apart?”
Our Goal was to provide you with a better understanding about what Succession Planning is and how to go about implementing a Succession Plan for your business. How did we do?
Have you started to think about Succession Planning for your business, or do you already have a plan in place? We’d like to hear from you – tell us who you have on your Power Team of Professionals, and how have they helped you with regards to your Business plans for the future.
